Winter Greens Policy:
To only use temporary greens when the frost, or rain, is so bad that playing on the normal greens would cause long-term damage.  Using these 'winter greens' is better than having to close the course altogether.

If we receive hard frosts in the mornings, tee off times may be put back slightly in order to protect the greens.

Preferred Lies
Now in operation at all times. Preferred lies are taken on all cut grass.

Mats/Rough Experiment
Our policy is that golfers must use mats from the 1st of December 2009. We are also going to try an experiment using the light rough as another option to a mat (see Winter Golf Information).

New 8th Tee!
The new 8th Tee is now open.  It is 175 yards to the center of the green.  Please follow the signs from the 7th green to the 8th Tee. It will be in use for the next few weeks.

The Templar course is setup for 9 par-3's except Tuesdays and Wednesdays when it plays as the 6-hole 'competition' layout.

See 'Golfing Facilities' page for more information.

No golf-buggies allowed at any time on Templar Course.

Preferred Lies
We will use preferred lies for ALL competitions and general play from Monday the 2nd of November 2009. Preferred lies are taken on all cut grass.
